NEWBORN SHOOT

All Because Two People Fell In Love.   

So a little background.  First, my husband and I were lucky enough to witness Jessica's and Roger's wedding. Second, my husband and Roger are buddies. More like, hunting and fishing obsession buddies.  I've been known to call Rogi my husband's second wife. I know, I know... that's just wrong, but it's true.  My husband is going to kill me for saying that. I think I've called my husband on numerous occasions and he's ended my call to talk to Roger. Bromance much? Sorry guys, I speak "truth" and denying the truth does not change the facts. 

Either way, when Roger asked me to photograph his blessing from above, I was thrilled.  For starters, Jessica and Roger are one of the two sweetest humans on this planet. No joke. Ask around.  They really are. They have huge hearts, genuine smiles and the most soft spoken voices ever. The soft spoken part is just alien to me.  According to some, I talk "loud", my five siblings talk "loud" and sadly, one of my boys inherited the "talk loud trait" (and we all know who that is).  

When we started planning the details for the shoot, I knew from the get-go, that hunting or fishing was going to be incorporated somehow into the session. Guys and their hobbies, I mean passions!  So, I bent the rules a little and added a "themed" prop. 

It was an absolute honor to halt your moments in time for you and to meet your new bundle of joy.  Frankly, I wanted to meet first hand, the future nicest person in the universe.  By default, sweet + nice = precious and that's exactly what they had. I think if you look closely, I captured one shot of the three of them smiling.  They definitely have a reason to smile. The most precious baby ever! I do admit, we had fun together.
